Man Raped After Sidetrack Party, Reports Say
Police said a 25-year-old man said he was raped over the weekend after attending a party in Boystown. It's possible that the man was drugged, according to the report.

A 25-year-old man, who was possibly drugged, told police he was raped after heading to a party at a Boystown bar over the weekend.
The Lake View victim said he was invited to the party at Sidetrack Jan. 11 by the offender, who is a 27-year-old man living in the 800 block of Cornelia Avenue, according to the police report. He reportedly got to the bar, located at 3349 N. Halsted St., around 9:30 p.m.
The victim said the soiree was in a private room, where he was greeted by the offender. He had between three and four whiskey and Diet Coke mixed drinks during the course of the evening, according to the report.

Around 5:40 a.m., the victim woke up nude in a strange bed where the offender was on top of him, according to the report. He said he soon realized he was in the suspect's apartment.
"The victim related that he was still a little out of it and (the) offender began to perform oral sex on him," the report said. "Victim related that once he got his head together he pushed the offender off of him and got his clothes and went into the bathroom and got dressed."
The two didn't exchange words, police said, and the victim went to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for a rape examination. He was not sure as of Jan. 14 whether he planned to pursue charges against the accused rapist and "just wants the incident recorded," police said.
