Man With No Clothes Pulled From Lake Michigan Dies (UPDATED)

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene Friday.

CHICAGO, IL — A man wearing no clothes who was pulled from Lake Michigan by Chicago firefighters Friday on the city's North Side has died, the Chicago Tribune reports. The Chicago Fire Department originally said the unidentified man had been hospitalized in critical condition, the report added.

According to the department, the man was pulled from the lake at around 3:40 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, near the 3200 block of North Lake Shore Drive in the Lake View East neighborhood, the report stated. Chicago police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene, the report added.

The man's name was not released, and officials were not sure how he ended up in the water or why he wasn't wearing any clothes, the Tribune reports.
