Metra Construction Causing Traffic Detours on Irving Park Saturday
Plan to avoid Irving Park Road near Ravenswood Avenue Saturday, because crews will be working on the Metra tracks almost all day.
There is a full closure of West bound Irving Park Road at Ravenswood Avenue near the Metra tracks scheduled for Saturday, according to Ald. Tom Tunney's office.
The closure is related to the Metra reconstruction project, and traffic will be diverted between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The following detour will be in place: West bound Irving Park, to North bound Ashland, to West bound Montrose, to South bound Damen, to West bound Irving Park.
