Say hello to the Armbrusters, a Lake View family who just welcomed their second child on New Year's day at St. Joseph Hospital.

Entering the world at 5:19 a.m. on Jan. 1, Jack Michael Armbruster was the first baby to be born in 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital of Chicago. He weighed 6 pounds and measured 19 inches long.

His parents, Jennifer and Aric Armbruster, and older brother, Cole, 2, reside in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. Cole was also born at St. Joseph Hosptial.

Ewa Bilinski, MD, board-certified obstetrician, delivered the baby, along with help from the staff at The Family Birthplace. To celebrate the New Year’s Day arrival, nurses presented the family with a gift basket filled with clothing, a stuffed animal and baby spoon monogrammed with the hospital name.
