PHOTOS: Carolers, Ice Sculptures at Southport Holiday Stroll

The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce kicked off the holidays on Southport in Lake View Friday night, complete with music, free drinks and appetizers and shopping sales.

The Southport Holiday Stroll ran on Southport Avenue from Belmont to Irving Park Road. Combined with a sleigh and classic carolers – and plenty of strollers – it was an event for the whole family.

Northalsted Window Walk, Saturday at 2 p.m.
Details: Join your neighbors on North Halsted Street Saturday afternoon for a warm cup of yuletide cheer. Starting at Space Park on Roscoe Street, head up and down North Halsted and check out the marvelous window displays.

Jolly Palooza, Saturday from 1-4 p.m.
Details: Lake View is hosting another holiday party on Lincoln Avenue from Diversey Parkway to Addison Street, this time with live ice sculpting, carolers and even an appearance by Santa & Mrs. Claus.
