Here are the top stories in Lakeview today:

1. An ATM was stolen from a Lakeview convenience store early Monday morning, one of five in a string of ATM thefts throughout the area. The windows were smashed at East Lakeview Food and Liquor in the 3800 block of North Clark Street and money was stolen from the register. (ABC7)

2. Restaurant group Boka plans to open three new restaurants next summer in the former Southport Lanes building, including GG’s Chicken Shop. Boka owner Rob Katz said the Southport Corridor “holds a very special place in my heart” after spending 20 years as a resident of the neighborhood. (Eater)

3. Thanksgiving travel is expected to rebound to pre-pandemic numbers this week. “Peak travel time is expected to be from 2:45 to 4:45 p.m. Wednesday” for drivers leaving the Chicago area, according to analytics from the transportation firm INRIX. (Patch)

4. Florida-based cannabis company Ayr Wellness has purchased Dispensary 33’s two Chicago locations for $55 million. The Andersonville and the West Loop dispensaries were the only independent pot shops in the city. (Block Club)

5. Independent beer shops across Chicagoland say they are no longer carrying Goose Island beers, claiming the company favors bigger chain stores like Jewel and Binny’s in releasing its “coveted” special edition beverages.
