Puma Perfume, Broccoli Bouquets Still Needed at Lincoln Park Zoo

Hoping to continue spreading the holiday cheer? Several items remain on the Lincoln Park Zoo's wish list. They range from $7 to $30. See what's needed!

Fancy pears for red pandas? Lollipops for camels? Perfume for a puma?

All have made the Lincoln Park Zoo's holiday wish list. And although many of the items have been purchased, some are still needed. 

Peruse the zoo's list of needed items and share the spirit of the season by giving your local animals the present of their choice.

The following toys and tasty treats remained listed Friday: 

Crunchy Carrots $7 

Leave your snowmen noseless this year and give your carrots to the primates. They’ll make a quick meal of the crunchy veggies.

Bird Bungalows $30 

A cozy home is a must for holiday celebrations. Gift the zoo’s birds with nest boxes so they can cuddle up with loved ones and snuggle during the chilly winter.

Puma Perfume $30

The perfect gift for Mom and a mountain lion? Perfume! The puma won’t wear the scent, but it will be sprayed around the habitat for enrichment.

Fancy Feet $25 

Pedicures are needed at the bird house. Give the birds some dremel tips  to shape their dainty avian claws. They need to look their feathery best for all the holiday visitors this year.

Calamari Safari $18 

Rejoice with the lions and tigers as they jump and play with new bungee cords—perfect holiday gifts!

Holiday Hors D’oeuvres $15 

The lively klipspringers will jump at some alfalfa cubes! The crunchy grass is their preferred snack food after a long day of rock climbing.
