1. A rideshare passenger was killed in a crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive Sunday. The 46-year-old was riding southbound in Gold Coast when the rideshare SUV was rear-ended and flipped, ejecting him from the vehicle. (NBC5)

More than 1,000 people marched through downtown Chicago Saturday to protest the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse. “I think as Chicagoans, as a majority Black and Brown city, we are extremely powerful,” organizer Jazmine Salas told Block Club Chicago. “Today it’s about really showing our power, not backing down.” (Block Club)
