1. Lincoln Park High School will “take extra security precautions” after a shooting threat circulated on Instagram. According to Chicago police, the poster laid out a plan to “shoot the kids that annoy me.” (ABC)

2. A Chicago man will serve two years in prison after attacking three CTA bus drivers with pepper spray over a six-month period. Two of the attacks occurred last year on buses in Edgewater and Uptown. (CWB)
3. A Maywood man has been arrested in connection with up to 100 smash-and-grab burglaries around Chicago, including liquor stores in Lakeview. Tacarre Harper, 24, was charged with nine felony counts of burglary. (CBS)
