2. Sluggers owner Steven Strauss died Thursday at the age of 76. The longtime Wrigleyville business owner and lifelong Cubs fan opened his first neighborhood bar 50 years ago on Sheridan Road. (NBC)

Some Lincoln Park High School students are in the news for making an online video about “which races they would never date.” Principal Dr. Eric Steinmiller said the matter is being handled according to CPS policy, and sent a letter home to parents about bullying and responsible internet usage.
