1. A 17-year-old was charged Monday in connection with two Lakeview armed robberies: one on West Wolfram Street and another on North Janssen Avenue. Police said the juvenile faces five felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm. (FOX)
2. Lakeview continues to play a central role in the ongoing Jussie Smollett trial. The actor took the witness stand again Tuesday to discuss the alleged hate crime against him in Streeterville, denying that he and the Lakeview-based Osundairo brothers did a “dry run” of the attack. (CBS)

3. Wrigleyville Wonderland is open now through February. Featuring 19 local businesses “transformed” into interactive themed experiences, it forms “the city’s largest district of holiday-themed pop-ups.” (Block Club)
4. Zazas Pizzeria opened Friday in Lakeview. Owners/brothers Brett and Chadd Nemec are offering nine specialty New York-inspired pizzas at the Clark Street location. (Block Club)
5. The family of the late Minnie Miñoso celebrated his long-awaited Hall of Fame induction Monday at Sluggers in Wrigleyville, the White Sox legend’s “second home.” NBC Sports reporter Chuck Garfien said “He would walk into Sluggers, go straight to the kitchen and cook for everybody who came by.” (NBC Sports)
