Man Masturbates at Train Station

Police were called to the Paulina Brown Line train station on Jan. 7 at 3:48 a.m. when a 32-year-old security guard found a man masturbating on the platform, according to the report. When officers arrived, the 29-year-old man was still there but wasn’t exposing himself, they said. They looked up the man’s record and found that his contact with family members is legally restricted due to his history of domestic violence, the report said.

When the cops asked what he was doing, he reportedly said, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry … I know I have a problem and I need help.” The CTA employee who spotted him said she didn’t want to press charges, so police transferred him to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center for a psychological evaluation. Police said the man was previously accused of being a peeping tom, criminally trespassing, committing domestic battery and exposing himself in public, according to the report.

The boy's 43-year-old mother called the cops to her home in the 3900 block of Greenview Avenue around 6 p.m. when a verbal fight turned physical.
