1. City bars, restaurants and gyms are determining their own COVID-19 mitigations as Chicago plans to drop its mandates beginning Monday. Some will follow city guidelines while others will continue to require masks and proof of vaccination. (NBC)

2. Ukrainian Chicagoans will protest the Russian invasion this weekend. The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America is planning a protest Sunday in Chicago, which has the second largest Ukrainian American population in the U.S. (Patch)

3. Chicago’s competitive skee-ball league carried on in Lincoln Park Thursday after an Albany Park fire destroyed some of its vintage machines. Organizer Mike Fraser said the league had “not lost a single roller.” (Block Club)
