VIDEO: Fight Erupts on Streets at BeadQuest
A group of men take their fight to Clark Street during BeadQuest. Warning: There is some crude language used in the clip.
A brawl broke out between six men on Clark Street the same night as the BeadQuest bar crawl, and onlookers inside an adjacent Wrigleyville bar caught it on tape.
- Warning: Within the first few seconds of the clip, a woman is heard using inappropriate language.
“A bunch of drunk douche bag guys were looking for trouble all night, and sure enough, they got in a fight outside a bar in Wrigleyville, Chicago, a few block from the Cubs stadium,” the video’s description reads.
The guys were seen fighting outside of Rebel Bar & Grill at 3462 N. Clark St. The video was filmed from inside the bar.

But police say the BeadQuest bar crawl, thrown by the same organizers who put on the Twelve Bars of Christmas—or TBOX—bar crawl, stayed relatively low key. A man stabbed and critically injured a party-goer with a broken bottle during TBOX in December, so 19th District Sgt. Jason Clark said police were on their toes during BeadQuest on Feb. 16.
“From what I understand, it was quiet,” Clark said. “We had a lot of people out there in anticipation, especially after the Twelve Bars of Christmas incident, but as far as we know, it went well. … You telling me (about the fight) is honestly the first time I heard about it.”

Clark added the station didn’t receive a single call from agitated neighbors about the event. However, BeadQuest is a significantly smaller bar crawl than TBOX.
