1. A body was removed from Lake Michigan Sunday in the 3000 block of South Fort Dearborn Drive. It is the third body recovered from the lake in two days, according to authorities. (Patch)

2. Illinois health officials reported a 30 percent increase in COVID-19 cases on April 15. More than 14,000 people in the state tested positive for the virus last week, up from about 10,700 the week prior. (Patch)
3. More than 1,500 workers went on strike at the University of Illinois Chicago campus Monday. Teaching and graduate assistants are striking over wages, health care and fees. (FOX)
