Back To School: Lemont High School District 210 School Year 2024-25

LEMONT, IL — While it may not seem like it, the start of the school year is just a month away for Lemont High School students. There are still a few weeks left of summer fun, but the first day of school is Aug. 9 for freshmen, and Aug. 12 for the rest of students.

Here's a look at some dates to know for the 24-25 school year:

• Aug. 9, first day of school for freshmen and transfer students
• Aug. 12, first day of school for all students
• Aug. 30, early release
• Sept. 2, Labor Day, no school
• Oct. 3, school improvement day
• Oct. 9, student testing, no senior attendance
• Oct. 14, no school
• Nov. 5, Election Day, no school
• Nov. 11, Veterans Day, no school
• Nov. 19, early release
• Nov. 25-29, Thanksgiving break, no school
• Dec. 2, students return from break
• Dec. 19, early release
• Dec. 20, early release, winter break begins at end of day
