Blood Drive Planned In Homer Glen On Dec. 16

HOMER GLEN, IL — If you're looking to give back this holiday season, one way to do so is by donating blood. The Homer Township Republican Organization will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 16 at 14320 S. Golden Oak Drive, in Homer Glen.

Versiti Blood Center of Illinois' mobile bus will be at the event; as of Monday, there are still a few appointments available.

Donors should bring their ID, and expect the process to take about an hour if you're donating whole blood, according to Versiti.
