Commercial Filming In Downtown Lemont Monday

LEMONT, IL — Filming for a commercial on Monday in downtown Lemont will impact parking around the downtown area.

According to the Village, no parking areas on Monday will include: both sides of Stephen Street from Illinois to the I&M Canal Bridge; north side of Talcott Avenue from Stephen Street to Holmes Street; south side of Talcott Square Parking Lot (behind La Dolce Vita); and the entire Talcott Avenue Parking Lot (behind One Eleven Martini Parlour).

Drivers should avoid the areas if possible, the Village said. Prep work will start early Monday on Stephen Street from Illinois Street to the I&M Canal bridge.

There will also be periodic traffic stops at intersections during filming at Main Street and Stephen Street, and Illinois and Stephen Street around 10 to 11:30 a.m. Additional b-roll may be taken at various times and locations, which could cause periodic traffic stops.

Filming and prep take down is expected to be completed mid-afternoon on Monday, according to the Village.
