D113A Board Approves 2025-26 School Year Calendar

LEMONT, IL — At its board meeting earlier this month, the D113A Board of Education approved the 2025-26 school year calendar.

According to Board documents, D113A's calendar is traditionally aligned to Lemont High School and it continues to do so to the greatest extent possible.

"The main structure of the calendar remains consistent with this year's calendar," board documents note.

Some dates to know include:

• Aug. 14, first day of school for students
• Sept. 1, Labor Day, no school
• Sept. 19, half-day, school improvement day
• Oct. 13, Columbus Day, no school
• Oct. 31, half-day, school improvement day
• Nov. 6-7, parent-teacher conferences, no school
• Nov. 24-28, fall break
• Dec. 19, half-day, winter break starts at the end of day
• Dec. 22 - Jan. 2, winter break
• Jan. 6, 2026, school resumes from winter break
• Jan. 19, 2026, MLK Birthday, no school
• Feb. 16, 2026, Presidents Day, no school
• March 27, half-day for students, school improvement day
• March 30-April 3, 2026, spring break
• April 7, 2026, students return from spring break
• May 22, 2026, tentative last day of school
