The Lemont Environmental Advisory Commission is hosting their annual Fall Recycling Day on Saturday, Oct. 16.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Metra Commuter Lot, 101 Main St.
Professionals will be on hand to accept the following items:

- Prescription medications
- Old documents
- Latex paint
- CFL light bulbs
- Alkaline batteries
Non-perishable food donations will also be accepted for the Lemont Open Food Pantries.
