Kick off the holiday season with the Kris Kringle Market in Lemont's Talcott Square.
The event will run Saturday, Dec. 4, and Sunday, Dec. 5, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The market will feature German music, vendors and food. Children are invited to take their picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the North Pole.
A non-perishable drop box will be on site to help support the local food pantries.
