Lemont United Methodist Church is celebrating its 150th anniversary Sunday, Oct. 17, with a day of worship services, music, skits and food.
Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. From noon to 2 p.m., guests will eat, socialize and enjoy a historical skit performed by the church's senior high students. The Mad Monks of Melody will perform at 2:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. A banner will be hung at 3 p.m.
The celebration is open to the public.
