Feb. 14-18: Valentine's Day Specials, Local Art Show, Statebound LHS Students

Well folks, the Blizzard of 2011 will officially become a thing of the past this week as temperatures climb into the 40s (maybe even 50s) by mid-week. The Village of Lemont is asking residents to by opening any nearby storm drains.

3. Statebound Indians

Make sure to keep an eye on Patch this week as a handful of Lemont High School students head to the IHSA finals.  will compete in the boys wrestling competition while will represent the LHS Speech team in the finals. 4. Artistic Expressions Open House

Seven Lemont elementary schools will be represented Wednesday at the Artistic Expressions open house/competition at Everest Academy, 11550 Bell Road. The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and will feature artwork and performances by students from Oakwood, River Valley, Central, Old Quarry Middle School, Everest Academy, SS. Cyril and Methodius, and St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick's.

5. Bartending for a Good Cause (I Swear)
