Fundraiser Set for Lemont Man Battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma

The Lemont community is pulling together yet again to raise money for a resident in need.

The , 15780 New Ave., will host a raffle and silent auction at 6 p.m. Thursday to raise money for Brian Moody, a local man battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Moody has been unable to work due to his illness, and will soon need a stem cell transplant. All proceeds from the fundraiser will cover his medical expenses.

Tickets for the event are $10 each, and are available in advance or at the door.

Donations are also accepted at any BMO Harris Bank location. Make checks payable to "Friends of Brian Medical Expense Fundraising." Checks should be mailed to BMO Harris Bank at 12534 South Harlem Ave. in Palos Heights (60463).
