Lemont High School Provides Grief Counseling After Death of 2012 Graduate
A former student, whose name has not been released, died suddenly Tuesday morning, according to District 210 officials.

The school released the following statement Tuesday night:
"The Lemont High School community is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of one the school's recent graduates, and extends its sympathy and support to her family during this difficult time."

The name of the student and cause of death will not be released out of respect for the family's privacy, said Tony Hamilton, director of school and community relatons for District 210.
Lemont High School will have several members of its Pupil Personnel Services team, as well as counselors from outside the district, available Wednesday to counsel students, faculty and staff as they deal with the loss.
