Job Fair Planned Aug. 14 At The CORE In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — State Representative Nicole La Ha and State Senator John Curran will host a job fair on Aug. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the CORE Fitness Center, at 16050 W. 127th St. Admission to the event and both workshops are free to the public, according to a release from La Ha's office.

"We're really excited to bring this job fair to our community,” La Ha said. “We’re passionate about opening doors and creating opportunities for our constituents. Whether you're seeking a new career path or just starting out, this is a fantastic chance to connect with potential employers and explore new possibilities."

Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and come prepared for on-the-spot interviews. The job fair will feature over 68 employers, ready to hire for various positions.

There will also be two workshops featured: “Selling Your Strengths and Enhancing Your Brand” at 9:30am and “Inside Track on How to Interview with Confidence” at 10:30 a.m., according to a release.
