Lemont Dangerous Wind Chills: School Closures For Tuesday

LEMONT, IL — Lemont is under a wind chill warning until noon Tuesday, and a wind chill advisory until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, dangerously cold wind winds of 25 to 40 below zero are expected during the wind chill warning. The lowest wind chills will be at night and during the morning.

With the cold, some schools in Lemont have announced closures or e-learning days for Tuesday, including:

• Lemont-Bromberek District 113A, e-learning for Tuesday
• Lemont High School, e-learning for Tuesday
