"We have all of the same farmers and gardeners, but we're excited to add a variety of vendors this year that will bring something new to the market," Pecina said.
Among the newcomers are Carny Brothers Kettle Corn (kettle corn and Italian ice), Door County Coffee (coffee, tea and smoothies) and Carlani's/Annie's Gourmet Foods (oils, vinegars and salad dressings).

The village also hopes to add children's activities in the coming weeks.
"We're working with a Girl Scout who will likely organize activities as one of her service projects," Pecina said. "We should have more information soon."
Pecina also expects more vendors to be added throughout the summer. Those interested in joining the market should contact her at 630-243-2700.
"We have a good core group through the summer, but we usually get more inquiries once the market starts up," she said. "We try not to have duplicates of any item or food, so we'll be looking for different things to round out the selection."
