Lemont Hallmark Store to Close in July
The store, located at 1256 State St., will likely close in the next three or four weeks, according to a store employee.
Jean's Hallmark in Lemont will close its doors next month, according to a store employee.
Hallmark, 1256 State St., has been displaying a "Store Closing" banner since earlier this month, and an employee confirmed Thursday that the location would likely close "in the next three or four weeks."
Calls to the store's owner were not returned.
Hallmark's official website no longer lists the Lemont store among its Illinois locations.
Jean's Hallmark will be the second business in Lemont's Centennial Plaza to close its doors within the month. PC's Pancake Cafe, a restaurant owned by Village Trustee Paul Chialdikas, closed Sunday after 12 years in business.
