Lemont High School Continues Superintendent Search, Seeks Feedback

The May 15 and May 22 community forums will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the District 210 Board Room.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education is seeking input from community members as it works with educational consultant Cathie Pezanoski to secure a replacement for Superintendent Dr. Mary Ticknor, who will retire on June 30, 2025, according to a release from the District.

The Board of Education and Pezanoski have developed the process and initial timeline for conducting the search for the district’s new superintendent.

To help determine the qualities and qualifications the next superintendent should possess, the community is invited to attend community forums on May 15 and May 22. Additional forums are scheduled for Lemont High School’s faculty and staff, the school said.

The May 15 and May 22 community forums will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the District 210 Board Room. Attendees should enter Lemont High School through the District 210 entrance, which is located at the east end of the building on Porter Street. Individuals who plan to attend are asked to RSVP in advance, which may be done on the school’s website.

Faculty, staff, and community members also will have the opportunity to provide written feedback by completing a survey that will be available on Lemont High School’s website between May 27-June 7.

Additional information concerning the superintendent search timeline will be available in late summer or early fall, the District said.
