Lemont High School Honors January 2025 Students Of The Month
The honorees were senior Evan Lambe, junior Molly O'Connor, sophomore Adriana Paulavicius and freshman Jacqueline Kennedy.
LEMONT, IL — Four Lemont High School students were honored with January Student of the Month accolades at the district’s Board of Education meeting on Jan. 21. The honorees were senior Evan Lambe (Special Education), junior Molly O’Connor (Student Services), sophomore Adriana Paulavicius (Driver Education) and freshman Jacqueline Kennedy (Health).
According to the school, each month, Lemont High School honors a student from each grade level for hard work and dedication to the school and the community. Selections rotate among the school’s various departments from month to month.
Local businessman Brad Grcevic, of Edward Jones, Inc. (Lemont), contributes a donation each month to a charity selected by the Student of the Month award winners, the school said in a release. This month’s winners selected Hope & Friendship Foundation to receive the donation.

The Health Department tabbed Jacqueline Kennedy as the Freshman Student of the Month. A high
honor roll student, Jacqueline has most enjoyed Stagecraft & Theatre Technology, Human Geography, and Biology in her first year on campus. Her teachers applaud her willingness to step up in class and facilitate group discussions. Kind and polite, she is respectful to teachers and classmates alike and comes to class with a smile. Jacqueline has been part of both the girls’ swimming and girls’ bowling teams, serves as a class officer, and is a member of the Principal’s Student Advisory group. She hopes to attend Loyola University Chicago, and has an ultimate goal of studying law. In her free time, Jacqueline dog sits and enjoys painting.
Adriana Paulavicius, Sophomore, Driver Education
Adriana Paulavicius was selected as the Sophomore Student of the Month by the Driver Education
Department. Adriana is a high honor roll student who most enjoys math classes; she currently is
enrolled in Integrated Math Honors II. She has involved herself in a wide variety of activities on
campus. She is a member of the girls’ volleyball program, Student Council, and Health Occupations Student Association, and has competed on the Scholastic Bowl team. Adriana is described as consistently reliable, and is a student who shows strong work ethic, strives for excellence in all her endeavors, and embraces feedback to improve. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in the medical field. Adriana has graduated from Lithuanian School, and likes playing volleyball in her spare time.
Molly O’Connor, Junior, Student Services
The Student Services Department cited Molly O’Connor as the Junior Student of the Month. A high
honor roll performer, Molly has most enjoyed AP Physics I, Woods Technology I, and her Theatre
Technology courses. Faculty and staff applaud her for her character, work ethic, and ability to establish relationships with her peers. Molly has earned induction to the National Honor Society, International Thespian Society, and Mu Alpha Theta math honor society. She also is a member of Link Crew and Health Occupations Student Association, and as part of the Drama Club, was the head set designer and builder for the recent fall play. Molly is an outstanding wrestler who has qualified twice for the IHSA State Finals and is considering competing in college. She likes working out and serves as a lifeguard at the Lemont Park District.
Evan Lambe, Senior, Special Education
Evan Lambe was named the Senior Student of the Month by the Special Education Department. Evan is a high honor roll student whose favorite classes have included Zoology, College Writing, and both Marching Band and Symphonic Band Honors. His teachers note that he has consistently excelled academically, maintaining a strong performance across all of his classes. He is always ready to lend a hand, and demonstrates humility and a genuine willingness to support others. Evan has earned induction to the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta math honor society, and Tri-M Music Honor Society, and is a member of the Chess Team. He also is a boy scout, and expects to earn the rank of Eagle Scout after completing a toy drive for Lurie Children’s Hospital. Evan enjoys playing chess in his free time.
