Lemont High School Names 964 Students to Second Semester Honor Rolls
The senior class led the way with 256 students receiving either honors or high honors.

awarded 964 students either honors or high honors for the second semester of the 2011-12 school year, District 210 officials announced last week.
More than 230 students were honored in each of the school's four classes. The senior class led the way with 256 students selected (180 high honors, 76 honors).
The junior class had 242 honorees (182 high honors, 60 honors). The sophomore class had 236 (165 high honors, 71 honors), and the freshman class had 232 students honored (160 high honors, 72 honors).

In order to receive high honors, students must be enrolled in six or more classes and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better. Honor roll students must achieve a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49.
Students who receive lower than a "C" in any class are not eligible for either distinction.
