Lemont High School Releases 2025-26 School Year Calendar

LEMONT, IL — At its Jan. 21 meeting, the Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education approved the Lemont High School calendar for the 2025-26 school year.

The first day of attendance for freshmen and transfer students will be Aug. 8. The first day of attendance for all students will be Aug. 11, according to a release from LHS.

Here's a look at dates to know for the upcoming school year:

• Aug. 7 - Teacher Institute Day
• Aug. 8 - First Day of School – Freshmen/transfer students only
• Aug. 11 - First Day of School – All students (classes release at 1 p.m.)
• Aug. 29 - Early Release – 1 p.m.
• Sept. 1 - No School – Labor Day
• Oct. 2 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
• Oct. 8 - Tentative - Student Testing (no senior attendance; classes release at TBA)
• Oct. 13 - No School
• Oct. 31 - Teacher Institute Day
• Nov. 11 - No School – Veterans Day
• Nov. 18 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
• Nov. 24-28 - No School – Thanksgiving Break
• Dec. 1 - Classes resume following Thanksgiving Break
• Dec. 18 - Early Release – 1 p.m. (students only)
• Dec. 19 - Early Release – 1 p.m.; End of First Semester/Winter Break begins at end of day
• Jan. 5 - No School – Teacher Institute Day
• Jan. 6 - Classes resume following Winter Break
• Jan. 19 - No School – Martin Luther King’s Birthday (observed)
• Feb. 5 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
• Feb. 13 - Early Release – 1 p.m.
• Feb. 16 - No School – Presidents Day
• March 12 - School Improvement Day (classes release at 11:15 a.m.)
• March 17 - eLearning Day – Election Day
• March 27 - Early Release – 1 p.m./Spring Break begins at end of day
• April 7 - Classes resume following Spring Break
• April 15 - Tentative - Student Testing (no senior attendance; classes release at TBA)
• April 20 - No School – Teacher Institute Day
• April 30 - Early Release – 1 p.m. (students only)
• May 14 - Last Day of Attendance (seniors)
