Lemont High School Tennis Teams Host Weekend Fundraiser
"Serving for the Community" will be held July 14-15 at the school's tennis courts to raise money for the boys and girls teams, as well as local charities.

For the fourth straight year, the tennis program will host a doubles tournament raise money for the boys and girls teams and other local charities.
The event will be held Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m., at the school's tennis courts, 800 Porter St.
In addition to holding the tournament, the teams will be raffling off several tennis items.

Anyone who is interested in playing can show up at the courts beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, or can email boys tennis coach Jon DeGuzman at coachdmail@yahoo.com. The cost to enter is $20.
“Serving for the Community” has brought in several thousand dollars over the last two years to Lemont’s tennis programs and other local charities. This year, a portion of the proceeds will again be donated to the American Lyme Disease Foundation in honor of Lemont High School student Matt Parker, who has battled the disease in recent years.
