Lemont Native Graham Pocic Named to Rimington Trophy Watch List
The University of Illinois senior was one of 50 players named to the watch list for the Rimington, an award given annually to the nation's top center.

Lemont native Graham Pocic, a center at the University of Illinois, was recently named to the Rimington Trophy watch list, the award given annually to the nation's top center.
The winner of the Rimington Trophy is selected by determining the consensus All-American center pick from the All-America teams published by the American Football Coaches Association, Football Writers Association of America, the Sporting News and the Walter Camp Foundation.

Pocic (6-foot-7, 305 pounds) enters 2012 having started 26 consecutive games at center for the Illini, where he has helped Illinois to consecutive victories in the 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl and 2010 Texas Bowl. He was an All-Big Ten honorable mention selection in 2010 when he helped pave the way for the top rushing offense in the Big Ten and 11th-best in the nation as Illinois averaged 246.1 yards per game.
