Lemont Officers Set For Cop On A Rooftop On May 17

LEMONT, IL — Cop on a Rooftop, the annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois, will be held on May 17 at two Dunkin' locations in Lemont.

This year is the 21st anniversary between Dunkin' and Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run. Each year, police officers staff Dunkin' locations, often standing on rooftops of the buildings, to support Special Olympics Illinois.

Lemont officers will support the fundraiser again this year, from 5 a.m. to noon on May 17, at the Dunkin' at 15629 127th St., and 13604 Archer Ave. Proceeds will benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.

Guests who make a donation will receive a coupon for a free donut, according to the event website. If you donate $10 or more, you will receive a tumbler and a coupon for a free coffee
