Lemont Park District to Host 'Sunset Soiree' Summer Concert Series

The Lemont Park District will kick off its second annual summer concert series later this month.

Sunset Soiree, Lemont's very own "Ravinia Festival," will begin June 21, with concerts to follow on July 19 and Aug. 16.

The concerts will be held at Centennial Park, 16028 127th St., and are free to the public. Picnic areas open at 5:30 p.m., and local bands will hit the stage by 6 p.m.

Bands scheduled to perform include Greg Carter and the Walk-Ins, Fire Chicken and Vintage Wood.

Event sponsor Tap House Grill will be on site with featured menu items for purchase. Picnic baskets and blankets are also welcome.
