Lemont Vehicle Sticker Deadline Approaches
ALSO: Lemont Public Library teaches iPad for Beginners; Lemont Township offers intake for CEDA assistance programs.

Vehicle stickers: Lemont residents have until July 31 to purchase their vehicle stickers for $48. After Aug. 1, the regular rate—$96 for passenger vehicles—will be charge. The two-year stickers are to be posted by Aug. 1, 2013, and will expire on July 31, 2015. Stickers can be purchased at Village Hall, 418 Main St.; the Lemont Police Department, 14600 127th St.; and MB Financial Bank, 1151 State St.
iPad for Beginners: The Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St., is hosting "Beginner Series for iPad, Part 1: Getting Started" from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The class covers basic iPad features, navigation gestures and library wireless internet access. Bring your iPad, Apple ID and password to the class. CEDA assistance programs available at Lemont Township: The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) provides funding to support a range of services which assist suburban Cook County residents whose income is at or below 125 percent federal poverty level attain skills, resources and motivation necessary to achieve self-sufficiency. CSBG will be at at Lemont Township 1115 Warner Ave. at 10 a.m. Thursday. Call 630-257-2522 for more information.
