Lemont's Car Shows Return June 5

LEMONT, IL — The annual Lemont car show will return June 5 to downtown Lemont.

The car shows are held every Wednesday through Aug. 28, with different themed nights planned for each week. Canal Street and Main Street in downtown Lemont are closed for the event, which is held from 6 to 9 p.m. each week.

Here's a look at the themed nights this summer:

• June 5: Calling all cars, trucks and motorcycles
• June 12: Chevy/Corvette and Expo Night
• June 19: Buick/Oldsmobile/Pontiac and Kids Night
• June 26: Jeep/4x4s
• July 3: no show
• July 10: Ford/Mustang
• July 17: Imports: Euro, Porsche, VW, BMW, Toyota, Mazda and Expo Night
• July 24: Farm tractors and Kids Night
• July 31: Mopar
• Aug. 7: Exotic cars, and STEM Night and Expo Night
• Aug. 14: Emergency vehicles
• Aug. 21: Street rods/antiques
• Aug. 28: Calling all cars, trucks and motorcycles
