LEMONT, IL — Veterans in Lemont will get even more recognition now that the park district has debuted a new display for their Veterans Honor Roll. The display, which features the names of active and retired veterans, can be viewed at CORE Fitness and Aquatics Complex.

In total, more than 200 veterans are currently celebrated in the display. This is more than three times more than the 60 veterans who were first recognized when the honor roll made its debut in 2014.

The Veterans Honor Roll former display was a banner, whereas the new display has six distinct frames full of names and will be expanded as more names are added.
