One Injured in I-355 Rollover Accident

One person was injured Tuesday morning in a single-car rollover accident on Interstate 355 near Homer, authorities said.

The Northwest Homer Fire Protection District responded just before 11:30 a.m. to the accident, which occurred near the Archer Avenue exit, according to Company Officer Mike Kucaba.

The driver was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation, Kucaba said. He declined to comment on the extent of the injuries.

The road was cleared just before noon, he said.
