Hundreds of kids and police personnel packed , 16028 W. 127th St., on Saturday for the  sixth annual Kops-n-Kidz Day.

The event featured a number of free activities for families, including a bike parade, games, train rides, face painting, K-9 demonstrations, inflatable slides and more.

Kops-n-Kidz Day is organized each year by the Lemont Police Department, and Lemont Green Initiative. Volunteers include members of the Lemont Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, Police Explorer Post 449 and Neighborhood Watch.
