Pig Roast, Battle of the Bands on Tap For Teens Saturday Night
Rock N' Roast planned from 6 to 10 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 102 Stephen St.

Lemont students in sixth grade through senior year of high school looking for something to do Saturday night can attend the free Rock N’ Roast from 6 to 10 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 102 Stephen St., in the village’s downtown.
The evening, sponsored by a group of Community Christian Church congregants, will include a pig roast, battle of the bands and a DJ.
“As a mother of two teenagers, the one thing I hear over and over is that there is not enough for these kids to do,” said Amy Kelly, a coordinator of the event. “Heritage Fest is fabulous but by nighttime is more geared to adults. This is a fabulous student only event with a food and music and we hope these kids really take advantage of a fun night.”
Coordinators hope local teens take advantage of the event.
“We are so happy to be able to give these kids a fun safe environment to enjoy the night,” Kelly said.
