Police Blotter: Stolen Beer, Missing Cash

Sunday, Aug. 22

Money was taken from a locker in the 16000 block of 127^th Street between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 25

Jose A. Rios-Quiroz, 26, of Joliet, was arrested at 5:43 p.m. at the intersection of Illinois and Main streets and charged with driving without a valid drivers license and disobeying a stop sign.

Thursday, Aug. 26

Ernesto Garcia-Espinoza, 19, of Joliet, was arrested at 8:32 a.m. in the 12200 block of Route 171 and charged with driving with a revoked license and passing a school bus while loading.

John T. Sotor, 55, of Blue Island, was arrested at 7:04 p.m. near Archer Avenue and Main Street and charged with driving with a revoked license and driving without a seat belt.

Juan C. Canada-Cuarenta, 25, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:05 p.m. near State and Illinois streets and charged with driving without a valid drivers license.

Police received a report that someone took a case of beer from a garage in the 0-50 block of Hilltop Court between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21.
