Friday, Aug. 27

Police received a report that an unknown offender removed without permission a Copper Busse-Bar from a Verizon Wireless Hut in the 1100 block of McCarthy Road some times between June 1 and Aug. 27.

Juan P. Acosta, 31, of Chicago, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. near the intersection of Lockport Street and New Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license and disobeying a traffic control device.

Saturday, Aug. 28

An unknown offender removed without permission five dump truck loads of black dirt from a construction site on the 13000 block of Dunmoor Drive some time between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

An unknown offender removed without permission a Sony video camera, checks, a leather fanny pack, two debit cards, currency and Sony memory cards from a home in the 900 block of Warner some time between 10 a.m. and 4:40 p.m.

Johnny L. Lockhart, 54, of Joliet, was arrested 12:45 a.m. in the 12400 block of Archer Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance and one headlight.

Jeremy Royster, 33, of Crest Hill, was arrested at 3:54 a.m. near the intersection of Archer Avenue and Derby Road and charged with driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and suspended registration.

Dana Alcantar, 27, of Aurora, was arrested at 6:39 a.m. near 127th Street and Marion Drive and charged with driving without a valid drivers license and speeding.

Moises Barrera, 41, of Chicago, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. in the 13000 block of 131st Street and charged with driving with a suspended license.

An unknown offender removed without permission a Garmin GPS unit from a vehicle in the 0-50 block of Keepataw Lane some time between 7 p.m. and 9 a.m.
