Property Tax Appeal Forum Planned Thursday In Lemont

The forum will feature a presentation by members of the Board of Review, which will outline the property tax appeal process.

LEMONT, IL — A property tax appeal forum will be held at the Lemont Township. office, 1115 Warner Ave., at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

The Cook County Board of Review's event is hosted by Commissioner Larry Rogers Jr., State Rep. Nicole La Ha, Cook County Commissioner Sean Morrison, State Sen. John Curran, Lemont Township, and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago.

“I am really excited to be part of hosting this forum and help residents in this way,” Rep. La Ha said in a release. “I’ve heard your concerns, and we’re doing something about it! I encourage all residents to attend this forum, gain valuable insights, and ensure they are informed about their options regarding property tax appeals.”
