Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Property Damage, Stolen Items

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made June 11-17. It does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, June 16

Domestic Battery

Richard C. Caruso, 61, of the 200 block of Short Street in Lemont, was arrested at 1:43 a.m. in the 200 block of Short Street. He was charged with domestic battery. He appeared at the Bridgeview courthouse for a bond hearing.

Stolen Box, Money

An unknown offender removed a tan wooden box, U.S. currency and coins from a home in the 1000 block of State Street between 11:30 p.m. June 16 and 6 a.m. June 17.

Friday, June 15

Stolen GPS

An unknown offender removed U.S. currency and a Garmin GPS unit from a vehicle in the 300 block of Wexford Drive between 11:30 p.m. June 15 and 7 a.m. June 16.

No Valid License

Susana Sandoval, 32, of the 5100 block of S. Homas Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 7:22 p.m. following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Smith Road. She was charged with no valid driver's license and speeding. She was issued a July 20 court date in Will County.

Suspended License

  • Jonathan D. Hammed, 26, of the 900 block of State Street in Lemont, was arrested at 9:18 p.m. following a traffic stop at 109th Street and Lemont Road. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding. He was issued a court date in the DuPage County courthouse.
  • Jonathan T. O'Brien, 49, of the 14800 block of Kotlin Road, was arrested at 12:18 p.m. in the 10900 block of Lemont Road. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and having an expired registration sticker.He was issued a court date in the DuPage County courthouse.
Thursday, June 14

Property Damage

An unknown offender damaged a glass window and window blind at a home in the 1200 block of Keough Street between 5 p.m. June 14 and 5:15 a.m. June 16.
