LEMONT, IL — If you're looking to get moving in the new year, registration for the annual Quarryman Challenge 5K and 10-mile race opens on Jan. 1.
Race day is May 10 in Lemont.
It is $60 for the 10-mile race, and $40 for the 5K. The price will increase to $70 for the 10-mile and $50 for the 5K after March 23.

Both races offer a challenging course through Lemont's hills, and the races also start and finish in downtown Lemont, according to event organizers.
