Rep. La Ha, Sen. Curran Plan Community Events This Summer
The state representative and state senator will host several area events this summer, including a senior fair and a job fair in Lemont.
LEMONT, IL — State Rep. Nicole La Ha and State Sen. John Curran will host several area events this summer, including a senior fair and a job fair in Lemont. These events will provide various resources and information to residents of the 82nd District, according to a release from La Ha's office.
“I’m looking forward to each and every one of my events this summer,” Rep. Nicole La Ha said. “I love meeting the people I serve and learning about what’s important to them. I hope to meet you at one of my events and learn how I can better serve you!”
The Lemont events include:

- Senior Fair, July 31 at CORE Fitness Center, 16050 W. 127th St., from 9 a.m. to noon
- Job Fair, Aug. 4 at CORE Fitness Center, 16050 W. 127th St., from 9 a.m. to noon.
Other area events include a Children's Safety Expo on June 1 at Lakeview Junior High School in Downers Grove; a recycle event on July 27 at Hinsdale South High School parking lot in Darien, and a fishing derby on Aug. 3 at Tampier Lake West in Orland Park.
These events are open to the public.
