Scarecrow Trail Returns Sept. 21 To Lemont Township Community Center
Locals can head out to the trail any time from Sept. 21 to Oct. 19 and vote for their favorite scarecrow on the trail.
LEMONT, IL — The annual Scarecrow Trail will return Sept. 21 outside the Lemont Township Community Center.
Locals can head out to the trail any time from Sept. 21 to Oct. 19 and vote for their favorite scarecrow on the trail. This year's theme is "Be a good sport."
There are cash prizes awarded for first, second and third place; winners will be contacted by Oct. 22, according to event organizers.

To kick off the trail, the Lemont Junior Women's Club and Lemont Township will host the Welcome Scarecrow Fest from noon to 3 p.m. on Sept. 21 at the township community center, 16300 Alba St.
There is free admission to the fest, with hayrides from the Lemont Tractor Club, a DJ, library story time and food for purchase. You can park at Old Quarry with free hay ride transportation to the event.
